Most personal finance tools make you choose between manual work and sending your money history to a cloud service. Mango is being built for people who want a useful picture of their finances without giving up control of the underlying records.
What we are building
Mango is a private iPhone app for tracking balances, spending and regular costs from the statements your bank already lets you export. It is built around a simple rule: an estimate should never be presented as though a bank confirmed it.
Built for Ireland first
Mango starts with euro accounts and the banks people here actually use. Statement imports currently recognise Bank of Ireland, Revolut Personal, Revolut Business and N26 exports, and any other layout can be mapped once and is then remembered.
Where we are today
Mango is still being shaped by real files, real bank layouts and careful feedback. It starts in Ireland. It is free to download, with one subscription: a month free, then €1.49 a month billed annually at €17.99.
