Terms of Use

1. Provider and agreement

Mango Money is provided by Primed Mind Technology Solutions Limited, registered at Apartment 67, Westend Village, Dublin 15, D15 YF65, Ireland, company number 737502. By installing or using Mango you agree to these Terms and to Apple'sStandard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These Terms supplement Apple's agreement; Apple's agreement controls where the two conflict.

2. Service limitations

Mango is maintained and updated over time. Features may be unavailable, changed, or removed through an update. You remain responsible for keeping independent bank records and must not rely on Mango as the authoritative record of any account.

3. What Mango provides

Mango records and organises accounts, transactions, transfers, categories and notes; imports statements you export from your bank; and produces summaries, reports, and cost-of-living estimates from that information. Balances, projections, and lifestyle figures are estimates derived from what you have confirmed, not statements from your bank.

4. Subscription, billing and cancellation

Mango is free to download. Importing statements, adding or editing records by hand, and AI categorisation require an active subscription. Everything you have already imported stays readable, searchable and exportable whether you subscribe or not, including the encrypted backup, so declining to subscribe never puts your own records out of reach.

The subscription is EUR 17.99 per year, shown in the app as EUR 1.49 per month billed annually. New subscribers are offered one month free. Eligibility for that free month is determined by Apple and applies once per Apple Account, so it is not offered again to somebody who has subscribed before. The free month is the beginning of the subscription rather than a separate trial: cancel during it and you are not charged, and access ends when the month does.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically for a further year unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and Apple charges the renewal within the 24 hours before that period ends. The price at renewal is the price then published. If it goes up, Apple tells you before the new price takes effect. Depending on the size of the increase and where you live, Apple either asks you to agree before charging it, or continues the subscription at the new price unless you cancel. You are told either way, and you can always cancel instead.

You can cancel at any time in your Apple Account settings, on the same device, at least a day before the subscription renews. Cancelling stops future renewals and leaves the subscription active until the end of the period already paid for. Mango cannot cancel, change or refund a subscription: those are handled by Apple, and refund requests go to Apple rather than to us.

When a subscription ends, Mango becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted, nothing is hidden, and the encrypted backup keeps working, so you can take everything with you at any time. Subscribing again restores importing and editing.

5. Not financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice

Mango does not provide financial, investment, accounting, tax, or legal advice, does not make recommendations about products or providers, does not initiate payments, and does not hold money. Seek a qualified professional before acting on anything you see in the app.

6. Your data and your content

You retain ownership of everything you record in Mango. The limited processing described in the Privacy Policy does not transfer ownership to us. You are responsible for having the right to import or store any statement or account information you add, and for only connecting accounts you are authorised to access.

The Privacy Policy explains what is stored on your device and the limited cases in which anything leaves it.

7. Imported statements

Mango does not connect to your bank. It reads statement files you export yourself, and it can show delayed, incomplete or duplicated information when a bank changes an export format. Nothing is added to your records until you confirm it, so review every candidate before confirming, and compare anything important against your bank's own records.

8. Backups and recovery

Portable backups are encrypted on your device using a password you choose. We cannot access a backup, recreate a lost password or recovery key, or recover content deleted without a usable backup. Keep the backup and its password secure and, ideally, separately.

9. Acceptable use

You must not use Mango unlawfully, access an account you are not authorised to access, provide a service to another person with it, attempt to bypass purchase or security controls, interfere with the app, its relay, or the App Store, redistribute the app except as Apple permits, or infringe another person's rights.

10. Availability and changes

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. Uninterrupted, error-free operation and preservation of data cannot be guaranteed. Keep an encrypted backup of anything you would not want to lose.

11. Responsibility and consumer rights

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Primed Mind is not responsible for indirect loss, for financial decisions taken on the basis of figures shown in the app, for loss caused by a failure to keep a backup, or for services controlled by Apple, a bank, or another third party. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits your mandatory rights as a consumer.

12. Third-party terms

Use of Apple's platform and App Store, Mango's service hosted on Vercel, Anthropic for optional AI categorisation, and the Central Statistics Office's public service may each be subject to their own terms and privacy notices. These Terms do not alter them.

13. Ending your use

You can stop at any time by deleting the app. Deleting it does not cancel a subscription: cancel that in your Apple Account settings, as described in section 4. Turning off AI categorisation in Settings withdraws that consent on its own, without deleting anything.

14. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by Irish law, without limiting any mandatory rights you have under the laws of your country of residence. Questions can be sent toinfo@primedmindtech.com.
