Mango Money · Statement import
Bring in your history without handing over your password.
Read your statement file on your iPhone, then decide what becomes part of your record.
Mango currently reads exports from Bank of Ireland, Revolut and N26. The source file is previewed on-device, and nothing is saved until you confirm the rows you want.
How statement import works
- Choose a statement file from the place you saved it.
- Preview the file and map its columns if Mango has not seen that layout before.
- Review dates, descriptions, amounts, currencies and possible duplicates.
- Keep, skip or explain candidates before they are added to your records.
- Use the remembered layout next time you export the same kind of statement.
Why review matters
Bank exports can contain opening balances, pending entries, duplicate rows or transfers between accounts you own. Mango shows those cases as work for you to review instead of quietly guessing and presenting the result as fact.
What happens to the file
Statement import needs no bank connection. Source files are read on your iPhone and are not retained by Mango. Your records remain in the app's private storage on the device. You can read the full details in the Privacy Policy.
Still have a question?
Support for a bank or export layout may change as real files teach us what needs to be better. Contact support with the bank name and the kind of export you are trying to use; please do not send account numbers or a statement containing personal information.
